Hope For The Hopeless
03:49
|
|||
Some days feel like a waste where nothing ever goes right
Some days you’re on your game, but empty on the inside
It always seems the same, no matter what the day
Don’t even wanna try and nothing really feels ok
It’s time like this the fight feels lost, but really means the most
When there’s so much that’s on the line and losing feels so close
Where is the will to fight? Is it even inside?
It’s hard to hear, but you gotta stoke the flame inside
Don’t you quit! Yeah, don’t give up and see that you’re not in this on your own
Stand up! Fight! God won’t give up on you, He’s got your back and won’t let go
Yeah, it’s a fight, you know the battle’s there inside your head
Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide to get away from it
You’re trying to break free from this insanity
But the thing is, you keep trying to in your own strength
It isn’t hopeless, you should know that there’s a way out
There is a love and there’s a strength to break those chains now
And time and time again, on this you can depend
That if you look for help, in God you’re gonna find it

The One Who Rescues
02:42
|
|||
Don’t run away, run away, run away
Some things change, nothing ever stays the same
And there’s no one we can blame
What do we do? Change our view, look to You
It’s nothing new, sometimes we just forget to
And our eyes shift to the waves
You’re the hand that’s reaching out
How could I forget about
The One who rescues
I’m gonna refocus on You
You called me out, not a doubt, and I think that I’ll step out
This is what it’s all about
I hear your voice and I obey
I can’t disguise that my eyes recognize my demise
And it’s now I realize
That my gaze has turned away

Listen up, yeah listen up, there's something I just gotta say
Gotta stoke the Living Fire, gotta live to show The WAY
Now, we might be Old-Timers, but we have A Common Goal
To reach The Lonely Revolts like Ambassadors of Shalom
The Hoax they try to sell us, but the cross of Jesus frees
He paid the price to set us right, took our Infirmities
Now we are The Kings Kids, sometimes we wanna Jump Ship Quick
Sometimes this life can get us down, but we ain't gonna quit
This is why we do what we do
Doesn't matter what they think of you
We know this is so much bigger than anything
We give it up to you
True Liberty awaits all those whose sin has been Absolved
We Fear God and for Christ's Sake, all our failings are resolved
We move on knowing full well that it's God who has our backs
A Broken Line made straight, we won't be living in the past
This Rogue Anthem on our lips, we sing it straight from our hearts
Nothing can separate us and we'll never be apart
Hippos of Doom can't stop us, we're Unshackled from our past
Not bowing to False Idles, No Punk Influences last
This is why we do what we do
Doesn't matter what they think of you
We know this is so much bigger than anything
We give it up to you
Check check, Cross Check, got a Heart Like War
No, we won't Relent because we know the score
Like a punk B-lister, He Cast the Dragon
All Reliance on Him, na, we won't be lacking
Doulos always to this righteousness
Pleading Guilty flipped us and the way we live
By grace through faith and from death to life
There's so much more to living than just being alive
This is why we do what we do
Doesn't matter what they think of you
We know this is so much bigger than anything
We give it up to you
This Thumper Punk, you know he fights Facedown
With a Raven Faith, yeah, we ain't messing around
We're brought back to life just like CPR
Now we bring the fight like a Rottweiler
This whole Rockfest and everything we do
It don't mean a thing if it ain't with You
Because this Indie Vision sees the bound set free
Sees the lost get found and sees the victory

Fight Alone
03:33
|
|||
Sometimes you’ve got to stand up
Sometimes it’s gonna take a fight
It’s then that you can’t give up
We walk by faith and not by sight
You know we’re bound to win
You know we’re bound to win
We’re more than conquerors
We are victorious
We’re not in this fight alone
It’s more than obvious
We know He won’t leave us
We’re not in this fight alone
Sometimes it’s overwhelming
Sometimes we wonder if we’ll win
It’s then that we can’t give up
We know there’s no lost cause with Him
Whenever trouble comes my way, you know I’m gonna count it joy
Cuz I know there’s no weapon formed that could possibly destroy
I know I can do all things, with His power I’m infused
I know that if You are for me there’s no way that I can lose

No Weapon
02:34
|
|||
This is a call to action
We’re cutting down all distraction
Too much on the line to just sit back in satisfaction
We’re all marching forward, we’re not slowing down
Holding fast what we have, no one will take our crown
No weapon, no weapon, no weapon
Formed shall prosper
We can’t be defeated
With Him we’ve been seated
With all that we are we know in Him we are completed
In every place we have the power to conquer
No weapon formed, no weapon will ever prosper

Where I Stand
03:32
|
|||
Sometimes I wonder where I’d be if You hadn’t changed my life
And I’m not where I wanna be, but grace makes that alright
And You say I’m on my way, I’m living more like you each day
I’m on my way, I’m not the same, and every day I’m seeing change
And I know I’ve ways to go, and even if it’s feeling slow
If I want change that takes a hold, I’ve gotta show it’s worth the wait
And some days it’s not so easy…
You’ve begun this work in me
It’s a work You’re perfecting
And I know that I will be the way You see me
And I’ll live the best I can
No, it won’t be easy and
I won’t always understand, this is where I stand
Some people try and bring you down
Cuz of how you live your life
They tell you that they know better than you
And you ain’t got it right
And You say I’m on my way, I’m living more like you each day
I’m on my way, I’m not the same, and every day I’m seeing change
And I know I’ve ways to go, and even if it’s feeling slow
If I want change that takes a hold, I’ve gotta show it’s worth the wait

Africa (feat. Sef Idle)
04:32
|
|||
I hear the drums echoing tonight
But she hears only whispers of some quiet conversation
She's coming in, 12:30 flight
The moonlit wings reflect the stars that guide me towards salvation
I stopped an old man along the way
Hoping to find some old forgotten words or ancient melodies
He turned to me as if to say, "Hurry boy, it's waiting there for you"
It's gonna take a lot to drag me away from you
There's nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do
I bless the rains down in Africa
Gonna take some time to do the things we never had
The wild dogs cry out in the night
As they grow restless, longing for some solitary company
I know that I must do what's right
As sure as Kilimanjaro rises like Olympus above the Serengeti
I seek to cure what's deep inside, frightened of this thing that I've become
It's gonna take a lot to drag me away from you
There's nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do
I bless the rains down in Africa
Gonna take some time to do the things we never had
Hurry boy, she's waiting there for you
It's gonna take a lot to drag me away from you
There's nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do
I bless the rains down in Africa
Gonna take some time to do the things we never had

Times are changing, everything is rearranging
If you don't know what I'm saying, then just take a look around
It's not getting better, every day we're growing deader
To the things that we should never, can't we see we're being bound?
Buy into the big thing, we sell our souls for anything
And it could cost us everything that means something to us
Let's open up our eyes and see right through their little lies
Let's just say no to compromise and leave it in the dust
Wake up, it's not too late, we can still resuscitate
No time, no we can't wait, it's up to us, let's turn it all around
Take what they try to sell us, throw it back, cuz they can't buy us
No, we won't accept the virus, we live for Him who turns it all around
Everywhere we go, on TV and the radio, there's no escaping it, you know
Just tell me what to do to get away from it, the ones who keep on selling it
The way they show is opposite to what we know is true
To live for God is getting harder, it looks odd
To go against the world's facade of what is right and what is good
But just stay strong and it won't be before too long
That we will see the end of everything that we believe is true
So don't you be conformed to what this world will tell you
But be renewed in your mind
Through the Word He gave you, that's able to save you
Just don't give up, it might take time...it's worth your time

Paid For
03:45
|
|||
I broke the law and I got caught, it was a minor offense
I never thought what I was taught was wrong, so in my defense
I can’t be tried if I defied, I didn’t know the difference
They say the law is still the law, this doesn’t make any sense
Is this a dream? I’m gonna scream, they just don’t want my two cents
The facts are clear and now I’m here and waiting for the sentence
What will they say? How will I pay? I never felt quite this tense
I guess I’ll pray I’ll be OK and wait for them to commence
How could I? Why would I? I never knew that I was wrong
Why should I try to fight? Cuz now I know I’m not that strong
The words I say give me away, there’s nothing more I can do
But sit and hear as they reveal the life I lived in its truth
Can’t walk away I have to stay, I feel the shame on my face
Then in my ear I hear the words, “My son, I’ve taken your place”
I’m walked away, I wanna stay, and it’s right then that I turn
To hear them say He’s pay and in my place He’s gonna burn
I hit the floor, I can’t ignore the fact my crimes put Him there
All by Himself with no one else, come on now, this isn’t fair
How could You? Why would You? I know that You did no wrong
Why should You not try to? I could never be that strong
I know You paid for me
As I walk away into the day I have to stop and reflect
On what was done for me so selflessly, I did not expect
Why would He go? I just don’t know and what could I mean to Him?
Then I know I’m not alone and I stop to listen
I hear a voice, I see a Man who says He paid just for me
He’s been released, He bought my peace, He came so I’d be set free
He gave me life, He took my strife, and now I’m always with Him
And this new light I have inside I know will never grow dim
How could You? Why would You? I know that You did no wrong
Why should You not try to? I could never be that strong
I know You paid for me

My Strength
03:19
|
|||
Today’s just not my day, but that’s OK
I know that I’ll get through it
No matter what they say, it’s OK
You said that I could do it
There’s nothing I can’t do because of You
I know You’re my strength
I’m watching mountains crumble in my path
Because You are for me
Nothing can keep me down, I’ll stand my ground
And I’m not gonna lose it
With my life in Your hands, I understand
It’s all about my choosing

You are here, moving in our midst
I worship You, I worship You
You are here, working in this place
I worship You, I worship You
You are here, moving in our midst
I worship You, I worship You
You are here, working in this place
I worship You, I worship You
You are
Way maker, miracle worker, promise keeper
Light in the darkness
My God, that is who You are
You are here, touching every heart
I worship You, I worship You
You are here, healing every heart
I worship You, I worship You
You are here, turning lives around
I worship You, I worship You
You are here, mending every heart
I worship You, I worship You
That is who You are
Way Maker!
